Patient Safety
Our patients are like family and their safety means everything to us. The quest to be the safest and best practice in Plastic Surgery is never-ending. We are consistently updating our protocols, equipment, and staff training to make sure that we are offering the best possible care in all aspects. Denton Plastic Surgery’s concern for your safety begins in the initial planning of your procedure, and is emphasized during surgery and in your post-op care, and carries on for as long as our relationship lasts. For many of our returning patients, this is many years! See below for more specifics about safety:
Our Surgery Center
Our surgical facility is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) and Texas state. We have a first-rate staff of dedicated physician anesthesiologists and registered nurses. We have all the equipment and monitors of a modern hospital operating room, in the privacy and sterility that a private surgery center can provide.
What to Expect at Your Consultation
You Are Our Priority
We pride ourselves on the level of attention we provide all of our patients. You will find that our office is a relaxed, friendly, and stress-free environment so that you feel comfortable during your visit.
We Listen to You
We listen – carefully – to your goals. Your consultation will take as long as necessary to make sure you have told us exactly what you want and have asked all of your questions. We will ask you questions, too, to make sure we fully understand what you’re looking for.
You Will Hear About All Your Options
After you have been heard, we will fill you in on your options – the pros and cons. You need to know about all of the alternatives so that you can feel confident about your decision to have a procedure.
If your desired outcome isn’t possible without putting you in jeopardy, we will be upfront with you. If the type of treatment you desire will not deliver a great outcome, we will suggest other options. We may also be able to help refer you to other specialists in the area. Integrity is important to us, and we want you to have realistic expectations.
You Will See Our Past Results
We will show you before and after photos of our past patients who have given us permission to share their images. This will help you visualize your surgery and make an informed decision.
You Will Be Given a Careful Examination
We ask you to complete your medical history forms prior to your visit, and we will review these with you to make sure we have all the information we need. We will also conduct a careful examination to ensure that surgery will be safe for you.
